What is a Flotation Chamber?
It is a chamber 5 feet by 8 feet with 5 feet of height, it has 10 inches of water, super saturated, with 800 lbs. of Epsom Salts. The water is body temperature. There are THREE major aspects of flotation with my hydrotherapy clinic that will be addressed:

1) the increase of physical and mental awareness (therefore the decrease in stress), 2) the increase in relaxation, and 3) the increase of healing

The salt is dense enough, when lying on your back, to lift your body to the surface of the water like a cork. You do not touch the bottom of the tank and it simulates a gravity free experience. Gravity is a very destructive and constant physical burden. Our bodies are burdened by gravity, even when we lie down. We change positions while we sleep, because our bodies are being compressed by our own body weight. The palpable benefit of "flotation" is the simulated elimination of gravity.
